Peter is a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is an NSF graduate research fellow (GRFP) and received his B.S.E. and M.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Peter is a member of the NeuRRo Lab, and is currently pursuing his doctoral research under the mentorship of Dr. Chandramouli Krishnan. His research interests include designing and testing robotic devices for physical therapy of patients with neuromuscular impairments. Specifically, he is focusing on creating low cost technologies for functional resistance training of the upper- and lower-extremities, and testing the biomechanical/neurophysiological changes due to training with these devices.
